- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi golf team shot a third round total of 304 to finish in fourth place of the Islander Classic Tuesday afternoon at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
- Sam Houston State won the team event with an overall score of 893. Fellow Southland member Houston Baptist and UIW finished in second and third with scores of 894 and 900.

Brooklyn Sutton posted a top 10 finish, firing rounds of 73, 76 and 74 for a three round total of 223, good for T-7th.

Autumn Bynum also landed in the top 15 of the Classic, shooting a team best 73 in the third round. She would place in a tie for 14th.

Maria Beltran and individual
Kelli Ann Dugan finished in top 20, as Beltran shot a three day total of 228 for T-16th. Dugan was just one stroke back with a total of 229, good for a T-18th finish.
- UIW's Lauren Mancha was the individual winner, with rounds of 74, 69 and 75.
- This week's event featured 14 teams and 87 individuals.
