- With the win, the Islanders improve to 12-6 and 6-2 in the Southland. The Privateers fall to 9-8 and 5-3 in conference action.

Emma Young (Coleman-O'Bryan) eclipsed 1,000 career points in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's contest, joining
Dalesia Booth as one of two players this season to reach the mark.
- Booth's 19 points propelled her two spots on the all-time Islanders' scoring list. The San Antonio, Texas native now sits at No. 6 all-time with 1,135 career points.
- For the eighth straight game, the starting five for the blue and green included,
Dae Dae Evans, Booth, Coleman-O'Bryan, Bryant and
Tiara Matthews.
Key Islander Statistics
- Bryant led the Islander offense with 26 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field and four-of-five from the charity stripe. The 11 field goals made is a new career high as her previous high of 10 was set against Abilene Christian earlier this month. She also grabbed nine rebounds, collected two blocks and dished out two assists.
- Booth finished second on the team in scoring with 19 points in 28 minutes of action while
La'Janeira Robinson added 11 points on four-of-eight from the field and three-of-four from beyond the arc.
- Coleman-O'Bryan rounded out the double-digit scoring for the blue and green, netting 10 points with three rebounds and three assists.
- Evans made her presence known on the stat sheet, netting four points to go along with six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
- Freshman
Hayle Campbell also added four points while
Alecia Westbrook,
Sydney-Anne Cottrell and
Olivia Dowden all scored three.
- 10 of the 13 Islanders that saw action tonight scored at least three points.
- As a team, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi shot 54.5-percent from the field, their best mark since Dec. 7, 2019 vs. Texas Wesleyan. The blue and green also caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down seven total three pointers.
- The defense held the Privateers to just 36.2-percent shooting while forcing 16 turnovers on seven steals.
- For the 14th game this season, A&M-Corpus Christi won the battle of the boards, grabbing 40 rebounds compared to UNO's 29. The Islanders are now 11-3 when outrebounding their opponent this season.

- Bryant's 26 points tonight marks the fourth 20 plus scoring performance of this year and the fourth of her Islander career. She is currently second on the team with 10 double-digit scoring games so far this season.
- Bryant's two blocks tonight also moved her to No. 5 all-time with 93 career blocks in just 49 games.
- Scoring 10 points in tonight's contest, Coleman-O'Bryan vaults into the top 10 in career scoring with 1,001 points. Her three assists tonight also gave her sole possession of the No. 4 ranking with 250 for her career.
- The Islander have now allowed fewer than 60 points in their last three victories. Tonight's 30 victory marks the largest win in conference action so far this season.
