- The Islanders' best set came in the second, hitting .441 with 18 kills and three errors. The set featured five ties and two lead changes.
- A&M-Corpus Christi led the first set wire-to-wire, holding New Mexico to just a .139 attack percentage.

Chloe Simon had a team-high 13 kills, hitting .393 with just two attacking errors. She recorded a double-double with 13 digs defensively.

Match Two Key Statistics
- Green recorded her first triple-double of the season with a team-high 15 kills to go along with 29 assists and 11 digs. She had one service aces as well while hitting .520 for the match with just two attacking errors in five sets.

Kylie Filipiak had 11 kills with three digs, three service aces and one block. She hit .231 for the match.
- Barnes recorded 16 digs and had three assists at libero.
- Young had four kills, two blocks and two assists.
- Dumity recorded six kills with seven digs, two assists and a block.
- Simon had four kills to go along with four digs, two assists, a block and a service ace.
- The Islanders jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, taking the first set, 25-18, and winning the second, 25-15.
- In the first set, A&M-Corpus Christi hit .241 with 12 kills and five errors
- The second set featured 12 Islander kills and just four errors, hitting .258 to go up, 2-0.
