- The Islanders hit .295 for the match, recording 49 kills to the Cougars' 30.

Sam Dumity each tied for a match-high 11 kills in the wining effort.
- Filipiak hit .348 and added nine digs and an assist.
- Dumity had seven digs, two assists, a block and a service ace while hitting .333 with just three attacking errors.

Carissa Barnes had 17 digs with six assists and three service aces.

Madison Green hit .417 with six kills and just one errors. She had 32 assists and four digs.

- The Islanders came back in the first set to win 27-25. A&M-Corpus Christi took the second set 25-18, hitting .407 in the frame. In the third, the Islanders won 25-23 to take the match.
