AUSTIN, Texas - Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi senior
Sashane Hanson will compete in the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Saturday, June 8, at 5 p.m. CST at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Hanson will compete in the high jump at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Hanson set the Islander school record of 1.85m (6-0.75) by winning her section at the Texas Relays back on March 29. She enters Saturday's event tied for the fifth-highest entry mark in the nation.
The 2019 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships are being held in Austin, Texas, on the campus of the University of Texas. The 2019 and 2020 Outdoor Championships will be held in Austin while the University of Oregon finishes construction on Hayward Field.
