From the Coach
- "It is a good feeling to see our ladies play well and finish near the top of the leaderboard. We have been doing some productive work in practice and I saw evidence of that throughout the past two days. I was proud of Autumn's play this week. She has become more patient in her process and is showing more maturity in her shot decisions/course management. I knew she had the tools in her game to be a contender; it was great to see her come away from our home tournament with her first college tournament win. Brooklyn also had a good tournament. She is gaining confidence and showing better consistency in her game. As a team, we are just beginning to touch on our potential; we still have a lot of work ahead this semester. To become a winning team, it will take all five players bringing in low scores. We saw flashes of that this fall - we are capable of shooting very low rounds when we trust our games and are focused on staying in the moment of each shot. We will be working hard during the next two weeks to prepare for our next tournament." head coach
Joni Stephens.
