- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi volleyball team fell to Stephen F. Austin, 3-2, in a tough fought match on Thursday evening at the Dugan Wellness Center.
- The Islanders move to 16-10 overall and 9-4 in Southland Conference play. The Ladyjacks improved to 25-1 overall and 13-0 in league action.

Madison Green recorded her Southland leading fifth triple-double of the year, ranking her third among all NCAA Division I competitors. She had a season-high 18 kills with 27 assists and 16 digs. Green added three service aces and a block.

Key Islander Statistics
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi's best set came in the fourth, hitting .256 with 15 kills and just four errors.

Kylie Filipiak finished with 11 kills, hitting .320. The sophomore also added five digs defensively.

Carissa Barnes had a team-high 27 digs, giving her 499 for the year which ranks fifth in the Islander single-season record book.

Kaylee Payne had 17 digs with three assists and a service ace.

Sam Dumity recorded with kills with five assists, four digs and three blocks.

Chloe Simon added seven kills with six digs, two assists and a block.
- In the career record book Green has now moved to fifth in assists with 1,759, sixth in service aces with 83 and is ninth all time in digs with 790.
- Thursday marked just the third time this season that SFA had been taken to five sets. It was the first time in Southland play the Ladyjacks had played a five set match.
- It was the sixth time this year A&M-Corpus Christi has played in a five set match.
