Second half surge lifts men's basketball past Celts

- The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men's basketball team defeated the University of St. Thomas, 69-59, on Saturday afternoon at the Dugan Wellness Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
- The Islanders improved to 2-4 on the season with the win. The game was played as an exhibition game for St. Thomas.
- Jashawn Talton-Thomas recorded his second career double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. He also dished out four assists while knocking down three three-pointers.
