CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi head men's basketball coach
Willis Wilson has announced the signing of Eden Davis to a National Letter of Intent. Davis is a guard from Dover, Del., who was an all-state performer at Dover High School.
"Eden is a terrific point guard who has a great ability to set up his teammates," said Wilson. "He is tough and gritty, and he is a winner. I am really excite to announce Eden is joining the Islanders Basketball Family."
Davis averaged 19.0 points, 4.0 assists, 4.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds during his junior season at Dover HS. A 50.8 percent field goal shooter, he shot 80 percent from the free throw line and connected on 43 percent of his three point attempts. Davis' career high entering his senior season is 38 points. He was a Gatorade Player of the Year Finalst who earned first team all-state and all conference honors. Davis led his team to a division title and a state runner-up finish. the National Honor Society member played AAU basketball for Team Rio.
