CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi athletics has announced Kleberg Bank as presenting sponsor for the 2019 Kleberg Bank College Classic baseball tournament, starting on Thursday, Feb. 21. The 2019 field includes Ohio State University, BYU and Oral Roberts. All games during the Kleberg Bank College Classic will take place at Whataburger Field, home of the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball club.
"On behalf of Islander Athletics, I'd like to thank Kleberg Bank for their continued support of the Kleberg Bank College Classic," said Director of Athletics
Jon Palumbo. "This first class event allows us to showcase Islanders Baseball as they compete against top teams from around the nation. I invite the entire Corpus Christi community out to Whataburger Field in February for some great college baseball."
