CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Director of Tennis
Steve Moore had announced a schedule change to this weekend's Contender CrossFit Islander Open. Due to weather concerns, the men's section of the open has been moved to a later date and the Islander women will play this weekend. The men's section of the Contender CrossFit Islander Open will now take place on Oct. 26-27. Women's draws can be found

If outdoor matches are possible, those will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center (400 Nile Drive). If weather is an issue, matches will start at 2 p.m. and will be played at the Corpus Christi Athletic Club (2101 Airline Rd.).
Daily updates can be found on GoIslanders.com with results, weather and schedule changes. This is the 13th consecutive year the Islanders will host an ITA sanctioned event in both the fall and spring.
As a program, the Islanders have reached 10 NCAA Tournaments in program history and captured 22 Southland titles in the last 12 years.
