- The Islanders knocked off the UIW Cardinals twice last season, winning in a pair of 3-0 sweeps.

Madison Green had a match-high 11 kills with nine digs and a service ace in the first meeting on Sept. 29 in San Antonio, Texas.
- The Islanders hit .202 as a team with 41 kills and eight service aces.
- In the second matchup in Corpus Christi on Nov. 4, the Islanders hit .262 and held the Cardinals in the teens in the first and third sets.

Chloe Simon had 10 kills and eight digs while hitting .600 for the match.
- A&M-Corpus Christi finished with eight service aces, two coming from Green who finished the match with five kills, two digs and two blocks.
- Entering the week, the Islanders' lead the Southland Conference in assists at 13.31 helpers per set.
- A&M-Corpus Christi also tops the league ranks in kills per set at 14.08 and service aces at 2.00 per set.

Rachel Young ranks third among all Southland performers in attack percentage at .389.
- Green ranks fourth in conference play in service aces per set at 0.54 and is seventh in assists per set at 9.62.

Angel Felan's 0.46 service aces per set in Southland play currently ranks sixth.
- Simon is currently tied for 12th in conference action at 2.92 kills per set.
- Freshman
Kaylee Payne, who has started all four conference matches at libero, is averaging 4.38 digs per set, good for eighth.
- Green recorded the conference's first triple-double of the year, notching 33 assists, 12 digs and 10 kills in a five-set loss to South Florida on Aug. 31 at LSU. Only two other Southland players have a triple-double this season.
- Green has been named to the Mizzou, South Carolina and Islander All-Invitational teams this season.
Sam Dumity earned All-Islander Invitational accolades as well.
- This year's roster features three juniors, four sophomores, eight freshman and no seniors.
- The Islanders added two junior college transfers in
Eloise van Velthooven (Parkland College) and
Kayla Valigura (Blinn College).
- The roster features 10 players from Texas. Other states/countries represented include Indiana, California, New York, New Zealand and Israel.
- This is the 19th season of Islander Volleyball. The program began back in 2000.
