Men's tennis heads to UTSA Cup

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men's tennis team will send a pair of student-athletes to the 2018 UT-San Antonio Cup in San Antonio, Texas this weekend. 2018 Southland Conference Freshman of the Year Kyohei Yamanaka and Jonathan Christie will represent the Islanders this weekend. The two-day tournament will consist of singles and doubles play with the Islanders pairing with the University of the Incarnate Word in team scoring. Draws can be found HERE.

Up next for the Islanders is the ITA Fall Regionals starting on Friday, Oct. 19, in Waco, Texas.

The Islanders' men's and women's programs have reached 10 NCAA Tournaments in school history and captured 22 Southland titles in the last 12 years.
