CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – After running their Southland Conference winning streak to 40 matches, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi returns to action Tuesday at UIW.
The Islanders (5-8, 2-0) hold the nation's second-longest winning streak against conference opponents heading into Tuesday's tilt with the Cardinals (2-7, 1-1). First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the McDermott Center in San Antonio.

SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
UIW enters Tuesday's matchup at 2-7 on the season and 1-1 after the opening weekend of conference action. Four of those seven losses have been in five sets, including their defeat at New Orleans on Thursday.
The Cardinals defeated Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday in four sets.

The Islanders are 7-1 all-time against UIW, including a perfect 5-0 record as Southland foes. UIW's lone win came in 2000, the first season of Islanders volleyball.
The Islanders swept UIW and claimed a 3-1 road win in two meetings last season.
