SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi track & field teams completed competition at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by the 4x400 meter relay team's third place finish.

The squad of David Carrillo, Angelo Garland, Will Maraggia and Javier Reyes crossed the line in 3:13.01 to take third in the event.
Jaran Cadena and Steven Galli placed 14th and 20th in the 800 meters, recording times of 1:54.56 and 1:55.33, respectively. Ron Williams also added an 18th place performance in the 110 meter hurdles, finishing in 15.71 seconds.
On the women's side, four Islanders competed in the 200 meter dash on Saturday, led by Tashonna Williams. The sophomore finished in 24.60 seconds to place 18th in the event.
The Islanders will be back in action Saturday, Apr. 9 at the UTSA Invitational.
