2014 (SOPHOMORE):
Played in eight games off the bench … posted one shot for the season playing in the midfield … seven of her eight games came in conference action … tallied a shot in the season finale against Northwestern State (11/2).
2013 (FRESHMAN):
Played in 16 games in the midfield, making three starts … posted five shots on the year, placing one on goal … posted two shots against both Oral Roberts (9/29) and Incarnate Word (10/11).
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB:
Had a strong career for the Sting Blue 95 club program under Trini Borunda … in two seasons, tallied 34 goals and 23 assists … helped the team win such prestigious events as the State Cup, Disney Soccer Showcase and Puma Cup … Sting Blue went 15-7 in 2011-12 and 10-4 in 2012-13 … played her freshman year for Sachse High School, helping the team go 16-5.

Amber Nicole Battiest was born on Nov. 7, 1994, in Galveston, Texas … daughter of Bianca and Ryan Battiest … has a sister, Kayla McGovern … intends to major in marine biology at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
