Jordan Johnson joined the staff of head coach Toyelle Wilson and the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's basketball team as an assistant coach and the director of basketball operations in May 2026. The 2026-27 season will be her first with the program.

Johnson comes to the Island after previously working as a manager for the women's basketball program at the University of North Texas for three seasons. She worked hand-in-hand with the Director of Basketball Operations, maintaining the day-to-day operations of the team and keeping track of the individual needs of 15 players. While Johnson was in Denton, the Mean Green won the regular season American Athletic Conference Championship, finishing that year with a 23-9 record and earning a berth into the WNIT.

Johnson graduated from North Texas with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Sports Entertainment Management in 2025.
