High School: Lettered in track and field and basketball at St. Thomas High School with an additional prep year at Southern California Academy... Posted game career highs of 27 points and 18 rebounds... A two-time All-State and All-District nominee, who led his conference in rebounding with 11.8 per game as a senior... Also topped the team and was second in the league in blocks and double-doubles and led his team in charges taken... Helped St. Thomas to a district and region championship as a senior, helping the team to a 26-3 record... Played AAU with Team Temple and Joe Little Athletics and made the Final Four of NY2LA Championship
