2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Played in one game, the season opener, making his Islanders debut against Huston-Tillotson (11/8) … played three minutes, picking up a personal foul.

HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned three letters playing for Shannon Hooker at Mary Carroll High School … led team to a 23-4 record as a senior … averaged 12 points, four assists, two steals and one block on the season … earned First Team All-District recognition for his efforts … helped the Tigers win district in each of his three years … a member of the AB Honor Roll.

PERSONAL:
Marcus Jordan Ellison was born on Oct. 2, 1994, in Fort Worth, Texas … son of Donna Young and Marcus Ellison … has two siblings, Trey and Keyaira Young … intends to major in kinesiology at the Island University.
