AS A JUNIOR (2005-06): Appeared in all 28 games, starting 16 where he averaged 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds a game...Was second on the team with 47 3-pointers made and was one of the team's best free-throw shooters hitting 83.3 percent (15-of-18)...37 of his 52 rebounds came on the defensive end...Was fourth on the team with 77 field-goals made and fourth in scoring...In his first game as an Islander, scored 21 points on 6-of-7 shooting...Had a season-high 23 points at Missouri where he was 9-of-11 from the field and 5-of-7 from beyond the three-point line...Had nine games in which is scored in doubles-figures...Scored at least one point in all but three games.

PRIOR TO TAMUCC: Played at Texas Tech for coach Bobby Knight where he appeared in 51 games, starting two in two seasons...As a freshman averaged 2.3 points and 1.0 rebounds a game.

IN HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Monterey High School in Lubbock Texas for head coach Vic Self where he led the team to a 24-13 record his senior season...Averaged 25 points and nine rebounds a game his senior season where he led his team to a district championship...Was named the district's most valuable player three consecutive seasons as well as being named first team all-state as a senior and second team as a junior...Was an honorable mention All-America selection as a senior...Also lettered three years in football where he was a first-team all-state selection as a junior.
