After five years on the court for the Islanders, Cole Martinez joins the staff for the 2017-18 season as the video coordinator.

A co-captain in 2017, Martinez was an integral part of an Islanders squad that went 24-12 in 2016-17 to eclipse the 20-win plateau for a third straight season. While with the Islanders, Martinez helped lead a program turnaround from six wins his freshman year to 69 victories over the past three seasons.

Martinez finished his career ranked ninth on the all-time three-pointers made list and ninth in three-point percentage. His seven threes against Jarvis Christian in 2016 rank second all-time for a single game.
