AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06 Season): Appeared in all but one game, starting 16...Led the team in scoring (15.0), rebounds (7.3), blocked shots (42) and double-doubles (6)...Was named the Independent Player of the Year as he led the independent ranks in scoring and blocked shots...Finished the year ranked 13th in the country in field- goal percentage with a .602 mark and his 1.6 blocked shots per game ranked 92nd in NCAA Division I...Set the school record for blocked shots by a junior...Could also hit from long-range, knocking down 8-17 3-opinters (.471)...Was named to the all-tournament team at Saint Mary’s (Calif.)...Named the Independent Player of the Week three times over the course of the season...Had back-to-back double-doubles against Houston (20 pts. 13 rbs) and Prairie View A&M (25 pts. 11 rbs)...In the Houston game, he was 8-10 from the field and a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line...Scored in double-figures in all but five games last year, including a career-high 30 points againt Trinity and 15 rebounds versus UC Davis...Reached the 20-point barrier six times, including back-to-back games where he scored 20 against Houston and 25 two days later against Prairie View A&M...Had at least one block in all but six games including a career-high five against Missouri State...Was one of the team’s best free throw shooters, converting 80.9 percent from the charity stripe (76-94)...Picked up a career-high four steals against UTSA.

AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05 Season): Appeared in 26 games in his first season with the Islanders, starting one...Averaged 5.3 points a game and one block a game...Was second on the team in blocks with 26...Had one of the highest shooting percentages with a .546 mark, hitting 53-of-97 shots from the field...Pulled down a season-high eight rebounds in his Islander debut against Texas A&M-International...Started only game of the season at Northern Colorado...Played a season-high 22 minutes against Alcorn State, scoring a season-high 16 points on 3-of-6 shooting in the Flint Hills Invitational...Also made 10-of-11 free throws against Alcorn State, setting a season high...Recorded a season-high four blocks against Alcorn State and pulled down seven rebounds...Scored in double figures four times, including 11 points in the final game of the season against Huston-Tillotson.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Sam Houston High for coach Wayne Dickey where he was named to the all-nations team his junior and senior seasons as well as a two-time all-state selection...Led his team to a 22-10 record and district championship his senior season...Led his team to the state playoffs two seasons...Averaged 18.2 points per game and 12.6 rebounds per game as well as four blocks an outing his senior season...Was a member of the AAU National 18-over team where he was named the MVP.
