Biography

2015 (JUNIOR): Appeared in seven games, starting twice … went 2-for-8 at the plate … posted first career hit at Louisiana Tech (3/7) … added a hit in three at-bats against Fisher (3/11).

Prior to A&M - Corpus Christi: Metzger hit for a .623 clip during his senior season at Sunnyvale High School. He showed the ability to hit for power as he drove in 35 runs and 12 homeruns. He brings two years of starting experience to the Island University from Cisco College. He was named First Team All-Conference behind the plate while at Cisco.
