2011 (FRESHMAN): Posted 47 appearances and 26 starts as a freshman … hit .212 with a double, triple and home run … drove in 12 runs and scored 14 times … swiped three bases and showed tremendous range in the outfield … went 2-for-4 against Indiana (2/25) … went 2-for-3 with a double against Oregon State (2/26) … went 1-for-3 with a steal at HBU (3/1) … went 2-for-3 with three RBI at UTPA (3/8) … had two hits and drove in a pair at Texas Tech (3/12) … hit a triple against McNeese (3/25) … had a solo home run, the first of his career, at Southeastern (4/23) … had an RBI single against UCA (5/1).

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned four letters for Rocky Manuel at Bellaire … earned all-district recognition in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons … was named a Preseason All-American and All-Houston in 2010 … hit .450 with five home runs and 25 stolen bases … helped Bellaire to four district championships … team was a state finalist in 2008, as it went 48-8 … also ran track for one year, and picked up all-district recognition.
