HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Glynn Tschirhart at Alamo Heights High School … Team finished 14-14 as he batted .429 with 25 RBI and seven home runs his senior year … In 2011 he was named team captain and was recipient if Alamo Heights Little League Scholarship … earned all-district second team shortstop in 2011 and all-district second team second base in 2010… his junior year, the team finished the season 25-7 and won a district championship while advancing to the area finals while batting .344 with three RBI and two home runs … in 2009, helped team to 27-7 record with a district championship, bi-district championship, area championship and a regional finals appearance.

PERSONAL: Nicholas Taylor Lerick was born on Feb. 20, 1993, in San Antonio … son of Fred and Sandy Lerick … has an older brother, Luke … majoring in business.
