PRIOR TO TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI: Played two years at Ranger College Junior College under Josh Blakely... threw 21.1 innings with a 5.4 ERA and a WHIP of 1.471 as a sophomore... named 2nd team All-Reliever ... in his freshman year, had a 2.7 ERA in 16.2 innings pitched.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for Smithson Valley High School for coach chad Koehl. 

PERSONAL: Born Kyle Carroll on November 9, 1994... son of Jim and Donna Carroll... has two siblings Cody and Kaylee... majoring in communications with plans to pursue a career in financial planning.
