2011 (JUNIOR):
Appeared in 43 games with 35 starts … posted a .219 average but drilled five home runs and drove in 28 in just 114 at-bats … also posted a .357 on-base percentage with the help of 21 walks … hit three doubles and scored 16 runs … went 3-for-4 with five RBI, including his first career homer, in the finale vs. MVSU (2/20) … had two hits and drove in four against Texas (2/22) … went 3-for-4 with two RBI at UTPA (3/8) … hit a two-run shot vs. Iowa (3/13) … drove in two with a ninth-inning single at Nicholls (3/18) … hit a grand slam against McNeese State (3/25) … had a two-run jack and scored twice at UTSA (4/3) … walked three times and scored twice against UTPA (4/12) … went 2-for-4 in the opener at Arlington (5/6) … went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer against Stephen F. Austin (5/27) at the Southland Tournament.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played one year for Southeastern (Iowa)Community College … set a school record with 20 home runs  … was named First Team All-Iowa CommunityCollege Athletic Conference and Second Team All-America … hit .436 with 91 RBI…  also played one year at Connors State(Okla.) … hit .389 with nine home runs and 44 RBI … played summer baseball forthe Madison Mallards in 2010.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Telecommunication Art &Technology in Brooklyn, N.Y., for Ed Delassio … team went 29-3 in his twoseasons … hit .400 with 22 RBI as a senior.
