2014 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in five games out of the bullpen during his debut season … Pitched four innings on the year and struck out two batters … First collegiate strikeout came at Texas – Pan American (2/15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Royse City High School … earned a 1.07 ERA while striking out 77 batters his junior year … named first team all-district at pitcher … hit .316 with four doubles … earned second team all-district as a pitcher following his sophomore season … sat out senior year with broken wrist.

PERSONAL: Born Jared James Jordan on Feb. 13, 1995, in Dallas … parents are Barry and Lisa Jordan … has one sister … major is sports management and he plans on becoming a baseball coach.
