High School: Played three years for Chris Morris at Montgomery High School … was named first team all-district in each of his three seasons and first team all-county after his junior and senior campaigns … hit .417 as a senior with three home runs and 21 RBI … swiped 24 bags to go along with 11 doubles and two triples … as a junior, hit .444 with 23 steals to go along with nine doubles, three triples and 16 RBI … was named all-county Newcomer of the Year after his sophomore campaign, where he hit .433 with 24 steals, six doubles and two triples … helped Montgomery to the regional finals as a sophomore, as the team went 34-7.
