VERNON JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played two years for Kevin Lallman at Vernon Junior College … was named the team’s Pitcher of the Year in 2009 … struck out 37 batters in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters at Abilene Wylie High School for coach Clay Martin … was named the district’s defensive MVP in 2008 … earned all-district honors in both 2007 and 2008 … helped team to a bi-district championship in 2008 … Wylie was a state semifinalist in 2007 … also played basketball in the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

PERSONAL: Chance Bragg was born on July 19, 1990, in Tyler, Texas … son of Carla and Weldon Bragg … has two sisters, Kayla Parrish and Shauna Apolinar … majoring in media communications.
