Saw action in 22 games and was one of the best defenders on the squad... knocked down a field goal in 10 different games... accumulated 42 points, 38 rebounds, 14 steals and 13 assists on the year... scored a season-high nine points at Abilene Christian where he was 3-for-5 from the field... drilled a three-pointer and netted eight points against Texas State.

Averaged 11.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals in 31 games in 2019-20 for the Community College of Beaver County...played for coach Bryen Spriggs and helped the team to a No. 4 national ranking.

As a prep at Overbrook High School, Coates was a first team all-conference performer for coach Keenan Rand... led his team to a 2017 Elite 8 State title appearance and was part of a 2018 Sweet 16 squad...competed for the Phill Hurricane AAU program.
