HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years at Hallsville High School for Scott Mitchell... named Louisville Slugger High School All-American after hitting .558 with 26 doubles, which is a state record for Texas high school baseball in 2015... received All-State, All-District, and district player of the year awards as a senior... as a junior, recorded a .391 batting average with 49 RBI and three homeruns... led Hallsville to three seasons with 25 wins or more, including a state semi-finals apperance in 2014.
