NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball program continues the fall portion of its schedule this weekend as they compete at the AVCA Collegiate Pair Tournament. The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, with nine different Islander pairs competing in four different divisions.
It is the second tournament of the season for the Islanders after they hosted the Islanders Collegiate Pairs Event on Sept. 26. This weekend, the event is broken up into four divisions: the AVCA Bid Division, Aqua, Blue, and Pink. The Islanders have
Millie Olsson and Whitney Sample as a pair, as well as Melina Molt and
Mia Stevens in the AVCA pool. TAMUCC has three pairs in the Aqua division, and two in the Blue and Pink divisions.
