HOUSTON, Texas - The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi beach volleyball team returns to play this weekend as they travel to participate in the Houston Christian Pairs Tournament. The Islander will compete Friday and Saturday in Houston as part of the two day event.
The Islanders are in action for the second-straight weekend after competing at the AVCA Collegiate Pair Tournament in New Orleans last week. They are slated to face a handful of the same opponents as LSU and McNeese join the hosts HCU as opponents for the weekend. The Islanders are sending 10 pairs to compete in the event as three will play in the Collegiate pools while the remaining seven will be part of Open pool play.Â
