CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball will only see a conference slate from here on out, getting back into league play with a pair of contests at the Hilliard Center Monday and Wednesday against Nicholls and New Orleans, respectively.
The Islanders have started Southland play with a split record, defeating Lamar on the road before dropping at SFA. They are, however, undefeated at home this season at 4-0 and are 32-2 overall on their home court since head coach
Jim Shaw took over ahead of the 2023-24 season. Since he's been on staff (2021-22), the Islanders are 54-8 at home.
In conference play, A&M-Corpus Christi is 27-13 under Shaw including 16-3 when playing Southland opponents at home.
The Islanders opened conference play at Lamar with the 57-49 victory as the Islanders remain undefeated with Shaw on staff when holding their opponent to under 60 points (30-0 overall, 14-0 SLC)
Both games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
