All matches played against the Islanders will be streamed live on ESPN+. The five-team field will also feature six neutral court matches. The event is open to the public with free general admission and will have food trucks and a beverage tent on-site and available to purchase from.

Following the conclusion of A&M-Corpus Christi versus Texas, the Islanders will hold a special Senior Day recognition for upcoming graduates Tori Johnson, Chloe Tome, and Stephanie Young.

The Islanders, who remain in the AVCA Top-20 poll for the second straight week, is coming off a reign in the conference as the defending champs repeated as the SLC regular season victors. The program has now seen four trophies in the last three seasons.

Young and partner Hannah Doyle matched the team's 7-0 conference record after defeating every Southland opponent they faced as a pair. It included a clinch in the 3-2 win over Boise State as the duo was named this week's SLC Pair of the Week.

The Islanders have never dropped a match to any of the teams coming in, holding 1-0 records against UT-Martin and UTEP and a 6-0 record against SFA. Texas is in just its second year as a program and will face A&M-Corpus Christi for the first time.

The sole meeting between A&M-Corpus Christi and UT-Martin came in the NCAA Tournament last year, after the Islanders went back-to-back as SLC Tournament Champions. There, the Islanders notched their first-ever win in the NCAA Tournament after defeating UT-Martin in a play-to-clinch 3-0 decision.
