2024 (Gr.): Selected for the All-Conference First Team at flight three with partner Hannah Doyle…Posted a  5-0 conference record at flight three this year but never dropped a dual in conference play at all for the 7-0 total record after also garnering a pair of wins from flight two... recipient of an SLC Pair of the Week nod after the SLC Midyear where four of their duals came in straight-sets while their three-set thriller decided the matched against Boise State to ultimately clinch the regular season title... Notable victories include wins against Tulane and UAB, and a 2-0 triumph over Texas at the Islander Classic on court three…Posted a pair of wins at the Southland Conference Tournament on court three with Millie Olsson to help the Islanders win the title and advance to their third straight NCAA Tournament... Helped the Islanders repeat as both SLC Regular Season and Tournament champions... Part of a historical team that was nationally ranked in the AVCA Top-20 for six weeks, the first team in conference history to be ranked

Previous School (Florida Atlantic): Spent last four seasons with Florida Atlantic who ended the year ranked No. 12 the nation... finished the 2023 season with a 16-11 record to help the Owls to a Conference USA Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance as the No. 12 seed. In Gulf Shores... defeated No. 5 LSU in straight sets at court five... earned a CUSA Pair of the Week nod after notching wins over Coastal Carolina, No. 17 Stetson, and FGCU

High School: Played indoor volleyball in high school where the team won a District Championship in 2017... earned District MVP honors in 2017 and 2018... named to First-Team All-District in 2017 and Second-Team in 2016... became an All-State honoree in 2018... graduated in the top 10 percent... garnered nine MAXPREPS Player of the Match awards... academically earned All-State honors in 2018 and Academic District First-Team honors from 2016-2018

Personal: Born August 23, 2001... parents are Sharyn and Wayne Young... both parents played at the collegiate level at Shepherds University with her dad playing basketball and mom playing volleyball... has one sister, Rachel Young who played for the Islanders from 2017-2021... working towards her MBA in data analytics
