CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball team will get its 2024-25 home schedule underway with the opener this Friday at 7 p.m. against Dallas Christian in the Dugan Wellness Center.
The Islanders (0-1) return to their home court for the first time this year after opening the season at #14 Purdue. Four Islanders turned in double figure performances to get the season started, including redshirt junior
Owen Dease who came away with his career-high 20 points.
Freshman
Isaac Williams also made his presence known in his collegiate debut, coming away with the impressive 12-point, 4-assist, and 3-steal stat line. Senior
Garry Clark picked up where he left off in 2023-24 with a double figure scoring game of 14 points while senior
Dian Wright-Forde put up 10 points.
A&M-Corpus Christi is 22-3 all-time in home openers and 237-110 all-time at home. The game will be available to watch live on ESPN+ with Steven King on the call.
