CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – For its third midweek match, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis team will remain home to take on Texas A&M-Kingsville in a single match Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.
The Islanders (6-0) are coming off a pair of wins over Howard Payne Tuesday on their home court, never dropping a game to win 6-0 and 5-0. They came after the women defeated UTRGV in Edinburg 6-1 over the weekend.
It has helped A&M-Corpus Christi go 25-1 in duals and an undefeated 6-0 on the year.
"Kingsville is a very respected rival, and this is always a very competitive match! Our women's team is excited for the chance to play at home and compete every present point with intensity, constant encouragement, and team unity," said head coach
Steve Moore.
