CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – For its outstanding achievements in the classroom, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball program was honored with a 2022-23 Team Academic Award from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
Additionally, the Islanders landed a trio on the NABC Honors Court including
Jasman Sangha,
Trevian Tennyson and
Ross Williams.
A minimum team GPA of 3.0 was required for the Academic Excellence Award, and the Islanders tallied a 3.175 for 2022-23. It came after nine student-athletes earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll last month.
