SAN ANTONIO – In its final matches before conference play, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis program posted a pair of 4-0 sweeps over Our Lady of the Lake on Monday at the Blossom Tennis Center.
The women improved to 13-2 overall on the year including 8-2 in road matches.
A 4-0 day came from freshman
Palina Saulevich as she won two singles and two doubles matches. She partnered with fellow freshman
Anais Brion for a pair of 6-0 doubles victories and then won a couple of straight-set singles matches on court six.
Improving to 10-0 on the year in singles was junior
Kateryna Rublevska as she did not drop a game in two matches at No. 5. She also won a doubles match 6-0 with junior
Valeria Cherfus.

Sofia Pinto also notched singles wins on the day. McKenzie won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1, while Pinto won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2.
As a team, the Islanders are now 59-11 (.843) in singles on the season.
A&M-Corpus Christi's next home match is Friday at 1 p.m. when the women open conference play against Southeastern at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.
