SAN ANTONIO – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi tennis programs will be in action this week when the women face Abilene Christian at 11 a.m. Monday in a neutral court match, followed by both the men and women at Rice at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The women will put their undefeated 10-0 record on the line against former SLC opponent ACU in San Antonio. The Wildcats have wins this year over UTSA, Oral Roberts and New Mexico.

The women are 49-4 (.925) as a team in singles. It includes junior
Emma Aucagne who is 7-0 at No. 1, senior
Victoire Delattre who is 8-0 in the middle of the lineup and junior
Kateryna Rublevska who is 8-0 primarily at No. 6.

A&M-Corpus Christi is off to its best start since its undefeated regular season in 2015-16.

The men will look to bounce back Wednesday after a hard fought 4-3 defeat at Illinois-Chicago on Friday. SLC Player of the Week
Nathan Schwartz continued his winning ways with a straight-set win and has now consecutively beaten UT Arlington, BYU, UTRGV and UIC.

It will be a tough test for the men as Rice defeated No. 68 New Mexico last week. The Owls also have wins over USF, Â Denver, Elon, Lamar, Portland and Samford.

The men and women will be going for their first-ever wins over Rice in program history.
