All tied up heading into the fourth, the Islanders struck again as senior Brendan Ryan hit a double to left field, coming home on a single by Leo Markotic (senior) two batters later. After putting a zero on the board in the third, UTSA homered to left field to tie the game once again at four apiece. The Roadrunners would go on to score nine more runs to hold a 13-4 advantage after the conclusion of the fourth inning.
