CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A tough shooting night from both the field and free throw line was too much for the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball program to overcome in a 79-70 final against New Orleans on Thursday in the Dugan Wellness Center.
Â
A&M-Corpus Christi (16-7, 3-3 SLC) shot .328 from the floor and .614 from the free throw line. The Islanders entered the night shooting .459 from the field and .749 from the charity stripe including .803 in conference.
