CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – In its non-conference finale, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball program welcomes Our Lady of the Lake for a 4 p.m. tip Wednesday in the Dugan Wellness Center.
It will be the first game in eight days for the Islanders (6-6) who last played on Dec. 20 at Oklahoma State. A&M-Corpus Christi fell 81-58 but outscored the Cowboys 38-37 in the second half. Graduate
Ross Williams netted a team-high 19 points and was 5-of-11 from beyond-the-arc.
A&M-Corpus Christi is a perfect 5-0 at home this year with every win by at least 18 points. The program is 216-106 all-time at home.
A&M-Corpus Christi is coming off a stretch of six games away from home in its last eight. It included 20 days between home games.
In their last home game, the Islanders posted a lopsided 104-69 win over Schreiner on Education Day. A&M-Corpus Christi welcomed students from Zavala Elementary, Crockett Elementary, Gibson Elementary, Evans Elementary and West Oso Elementary.
A&M-Corpus Christi ranks 13th in the nation in steals per game (10.2), 14th in turnovers forced per game (18.3), 15th in free throw percentage (.772) and 18th in bench points per game (31.5). Individually, senior
Isaac Mushila is seventh in offensive rebounds per game (4.0) and 21st in double-doubles (5).

Trevian Tennyson (12.3 ppg), graduate

Terrion Murdix (10.5 ppg).
Murdix ranks second in the league in steals (2.2 spg) and assist:turnover ratio (2.5) and is top-five in assists (3.9 apg).
Our Lady of the Lake (7-6) is coming off an 84-82 win over Louisiana College. OLLU is a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member that competes in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC).
A&M-Corpus Christi will begin conference play on the road when it travels to Northwestern State for a 2:30 p.m. game Saturday.
