CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's soccer program came out on the short end of a 4-0 decision to first-place Northwestern State on Sunday at Dugan Stadium.

The Lady Demons (4-3-3, 4-0 SLC) garnered four goals from Olivia Draguicevich, including three in the first half.

The Islanders (3-5-1, 1-1-1 SLC) were coming off a 1-0 win over McNeese.

"It was a very frustrating after the performance on Friday," said head coach
Craig Shaw. "But we will fix it this week so we can go 2-0 next weekend in our last home games in a while."

A&M-Corpus Christi saw junior
Emma Gibbs fire three shots with two on goal. Freshman
Megan Guy registered a pair of shots.

The Islanders are now 3-2-1 in their last six meetings against the Lady Demons.

A&M-Corpus Christi will continue its four-game home stand with a 7 p.m. Friday match-up against Southeastern and will close it out with a 1 p.m. game next Sunday versus Nicholls.
