SAN ANTONIO – In a rescheduled match, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi women's tennis program will wrap-up the 2021 regular season with a 1 p.m. match Sunday against UTSA at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The match was pushed back two days from Friday due to a scheduling conflict after the Islanders men's match was moved to that day after a weather postponement.
The Islanders (19-3, 9-2 SLC) concluded conference play last Sunday with a 6-1 win over Nicholls. The 2021 SLC bracket was announced earlier in the week and the fourth-seeded Islanders will face fifth-seeded Northwestern State at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23.
Freshman
Emma Aucagne submitted a perfect 10-0 singles record in conference. She's won 12 matches in a row and is 18-1 overall primarily at the No. 4 position.

Leopoldine Boisseau and
Victoire Delattre are both 16-2 at the No. 5 and 6 spots, respectively. At the top of the lineup, sophomore
Mariya Shumeika is 17-3 and has been playing No. 1 singles.
As a team the Islanders are 99-18 (.846) in singles and 44-11 (.800) in doubles.
UTSA is 8-10 overall. Last weekend, the Roadrunners beat Texas State 4-1 before falling to UT Arlington 4-3.
