"Our team is excited for this big conference weekend with two important home matches. We know Southeastern and McNeese will be very tough, challenging opponents and our girls are prepared very well. We always love playing at home and are so grateful for the support we receive. It's always the same with this team – we have to play every present point with intensity, tough and smart, great team spirit and unity. And that's what we focus and evaluate on," said head coach Steve Moore.

SLU (3-5, 1-1 SLC) split a pair of matches last weekend to begin conference play. It defeated Incarnate Word 4-3 before falling to Abilene Christian 4-1. A&M-Corpus Christi is 12-1 all-time against the Lady Lions and have won 12 consecutive meetings.
