BEAUMONT, Texas –
To tip-off a three-game road trip to end the regular season, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men's basketball program will travel to Lamar for a 6:30 p.m. tip Monday on ESPN+ at the Montagne Center.

A&M-Corpus Christi (4-17, 1-11 SLC) is going for the season sweep over Lamar (6-17, 4-10 SLC) after winning the first meeting 77-68 at the American Bank Center.

In the first game, the Islanders built a 21-point second half advantage and held off a late comeback attempt. Sophomore Jalen White scored a game-high 21 points and eight rebounds, while junior De'Lazarus Keys registered 15 points and eight rebounds. A&M-Corpus Christi shot .421 (8-19) from three-point range and held the Cardinals to a .176 (3-17) clip.

White has caught fire as of late and has scored at least 20 points and seven rebounds in each of the last three games. He's coming off a 24-point outing against New Orleans, which matched his career-high. White leads the team in scoring on the season with 11.6 points per game, including a 12.5 scoring average in conference.

The Islanders have used a balanced scoring attack as seven different student-athletes average at least 7.6 points per game.

Keys is the team's leading rebounder with 6.8 per game. Keys, who missed the entire non-conference slate due to injury, has scored at least 15 points in three of the last four games. He's second on the team in scoring with 9.3 points per outing.

Senior Nolan Bertain ranks second in the Southland Conference in three-point percentage (.414). He's made at least three long-range shots in eight games this year.

Lamar has started to heat up down the stretch and is coming off back-to-back wins over Incarnate Word 67-45 and Stephen F. Austin 88-83 in double overtime.

Davion Busters averages 14.8 points per game. He's one of three Cardinals averaging in double-figures along with Kasen Harrison (13.0 ppg) and Avery Sullivan (10.5 ppg).

In addition to ESPN+, the game can also be heard live on radio on NewsTalk K-E-Y-S 1440 AM/98.7 FM with Steven King on the call.
