LAST TIME VS NORTHWESTERN STATE
- The Islanders defeated Northwestern State University, 67-62, on Jan. 2 in the team's first game of the 2020 calendar year.
- The Islanders trailed by three midway through the second half but came back to win the game that featured five ties and a pair of lead changes.
- Jashawn Talton-Thomas led the way with 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting. He knocked down four three pointers, dished out four assists, grabbed three rebounds and added a block and a steal defensively.
- The Islanders went 14-of-18 (77.8 percent) from the charity stripe, going 8-for-9 in the second half.
- Texas A&M-Corpus Christi forced 18 NSU turnovers while committing just 11.
- The Islanders held a 14-12 advantage in points off turnovers and scored nine second chance points to the Demons' seven.
- Jordan Hairston scored 12 points with a pair of three pointers. He had four rebounds, two assists and a seal in 33 minutes of action.

WILSON TOPS WIN LIST
- Head coach Willis Wilson has won 138 games since arriving on the Island and is now the program's career leader in coaching victories.
- He surpassed former coach Ronnie Arrow for the most victories at A&M-Corpus Christi who had 134. Arrow was the first head coach in program history, coaching from 1999-07.

FROM DEEP
- The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi outside shooting has been historic this year.
- Not only are the Islanders ranked No. 18 nationally at 37.5 percent from beyond the arc, the 7.6 three-pointers made per game have led to a program record 237 makes this season. The previous mark was 215 set back in 2015-16.
- Myles Smith has knocked down 57 threes this year and Jordan Hairston is right behind him at 49. Nolan Bertain has hit 44 and Jashawn Talton-Thomas hit 34 before he ended his season. Peyton Smith has 23 makes and Javae Lampkins has 18.

- Entering the conference tournament, Myles Smith ranks No. 42 nationally and No. 3 in the Southland with an 86.0 free throw percentage.
- In addition to the three-point field goal percentage, the A&M-Corpus Christi ranks 84th nationally in three-point field goal percentage defense at 31.4.
- The Islanders are also ranked No. 104 in rebound margin at +2.6.
